Senior ARB IT Analyst (Architecture Review Board Analyst) Overview We are seeking a Senior ARB IT Analyst to support enterprise architecture governance and ensure that technology solutions align with organizational standards, security requirements, and strategic objectives. This role plays a key part in Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes by evaluating solution designs, identifying risks, and guiding teams toward compliant, scalable, and secure architectures. Key Responsibilities ?? Architecture Governance & ARB Support Support and facilitate Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes and governance frameworks Review solution architectures, technical designs, and system integrations for compliance with enterprise standards Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture domains (application, data, infrastructure, and security) ? Solution Review & Risk Assessment Analyze proposed technology solutions to identify risks, gaps, and architectural inconsistencies Evaluate system scalability, performance, security, and maintainability Provide actionable recommendations to improve solution design and compliance ? Documentation & Standards Maintain architecture standards, policies, and best practices documentation Review and validate architecture artifacts such as solution diagrams, data flows, and integration patterns Ensure proper documentation for ARB approvals and audit readiness ? Security & Compliance Alignment Ensure solutions meet cybersecurity, risk, and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, SOX, internal policies) Partner with security and risk teams to evaluate vulnerabilities and controls Support governance for data privacy, access controls, and regulatory compliance ? Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, developers, and program teams Participate in design reviews, project intake, and architecture discussions Provide guidance to project teams on meeting ARB requirements ? Reporting & Continuous Improvement Track ARB decisions, risks, and exceptions Develop dashboards and reports for leadership visibility Identify opportunities to improve ARB processes and governance efficiency Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of experience in IT, architecture, or systems analysis Experience supporting architecture governance or review boards Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, utilities) Key Skills Enterprise Architecture Governance Solution Design Review & Analysis Risk & Compliance Assessment Technical Documentation & Standards Stakeholder Communication Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Tools & Technologies Architecture tools (e.g., LeanIX, ADO, Sparx EA) Jira, ServiceNow Microsoft 365, Visio Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) What Success Looks Like Consistent enforcement of architecture standards across projects Improved quality and scalability of enterprise solutions Reduced risk through proactive architecture reviews Strong alignment between technology solutions and business strategy Summary The Senior ARB IT Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that enterprise technology solutions are well-architected, secure, and aligned with organizational standards by supporting governance processes and enabling informed architectural decision-making.
