TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST - 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Paragon Bank has expanded from a small local community bank in Memphis, TN to a regional community bank now located in four states, TN, MS, GA, and NC with over 100 employees. SUMMARY The IT Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to the bank's employees. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have experience in a financial services environment and a passion for ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner. Assist employees with technical problems and provide training as needed. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Perform regular system updates and maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions. Document technical procedures and solutions for future reference. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and service delivery.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Working experience with common banking systems (JHA 20/20, Xperience, nCino, LaserPro, Encompass, etc.) Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common software applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must have 5 years of experience in providing IT support, preferably in the financial services industry. Must have 5 years of working experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or
GED PREFERRED EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
(but not required) Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred, but not required. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.
