Job Description
Description Our client is looking for a skilled Workday Payroll Analyst to join their team in Sugar Land, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while adhering to multi-state regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll cycles with precision and compliance across multiple states.
- Review and validate timekeeping records, including overtime calculations and shift differentials.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Audit and reconcile payroll data to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Safeguard confidential payroll information and handle sensitive data with discretion.
- Partner with HR, Accounting, and IT teams to streamline payroll operations and implement improvements.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Generate detailed payroll reports and provide insights for management review.
- Support organizational initiatives by maintaining accurate payroll documentation and records. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Workday payroll systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations, timekeeping, and overtime calculations.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on customer service.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
