Open Until Filled Job Description Job Summary Work involves providing customer support for university information technology systems and operating automated office equipment in network environment. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks Performs entry level troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and resolution of basic computer related problems. Provides customer service and answers user inquiries regarding basic computer software, hardware operation, and the use of software applications. Performs the setup of equipment for employee use and proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Document all work in ServiceNow, communicate with customers through support tickets in ServiceNow and create KB articles. Ensures that appropriate security controls over software are maintained. Assists in the update of computers and application programs. Other related duties as required Required Education/Experience Associate's degree in computer science, information technology or related field. One (1) year experience relating to network communication, computer system hardware and software. May accept a combination of education and experience. Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field. Certification from one of the following: Microsoft, Apple, Comp
