Their products support mission-critical applications across defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure. They are seeking passionate professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building impactful products from concept to deployment. The Role As a UX/UI Designer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly experiences across web, mobile, and immersive applications. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience from concept to implementation while ensuring consistency with the design system and brand. Key Responsibilities Design intuitive user experiences and modern user interfaces for web, desktop, and mobile applications. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve product experiences. Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guides. Translate complex technical workflows into simple, user-friendly interfaces. Ensure designs meet accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input. Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams and leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and polished UI work. Proficiency with Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools. Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability principles. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Nice to Have Experience designing for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), or Mixed Reality (MR) applications. Experience with 3D interfaces, spatial computing, or immersive user experiences. Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other immersive development platforms. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development workflows. Experience working with AI-driven products or emerging technologies. Other Requirements Must be a US Citizen or valid Green Card holder. Must be comfortable working on-site. Must be within commuting distance of Santa Monica, CA.
