UX/UI Designer#26-08603 Rochester, MN Remote Contract Starts 8/05/2026 Ends 12/31/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a UX/UI Designer for a contract position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a contract opportunity.
Compensation:
$69.84 - $73.52 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
The designer will work closely with product owners, software engineers, business analysts, and research stakeholders to create intuitive, accessible, and efficient user experiences. This role will support two projects by conducting user research, creating user journeys and workflows, developing wireframes and interactive prototypes, validating designs through usability testing, and producing high-fidelity designs for implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct user research and create user journeys and workflows Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes Validate designs through usability testing Produce high-fidelity designs and design specifications for implementation establish consistent design patterns across products while balancing usability, accessibility, and technical feasibility
Primary Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience designingplex web-based applications or enterprise software Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process, including user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and final UI designs Experience with Figma (orparable modern design tools) for wireframing, prototyping, and design systems Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design iterations Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG) Experience collaborating within Agile product teams, working closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders Excellentmunication skills with the ability to present design rationale and facilitate discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences
Desired Skills:
Experience designing AI-powered, conversational, or agentic user experiences, including chat interfaces and human-AI interactions Experience designing data-intensive applications, analytics platforms, or research/scientific software Experience working in healthcare, life sciences, biomedical research, or other regulated environments Familiarity with design systems and creating reusable UIponents Experience using analytics and user behavior data to inform design decisions Basic understanding of generative AI concepts and how users interact with AI assistants Experience with service design or workflow optimization Knowledge of biomedical research or clinical research workflows Experience collaborating with distributed or cross-functional teams in large enterprise organizations Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with development teams, though coding is not required Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
