SAP Lead UI/UX Resource

Job Description

This is a 6-month contract role for a SAP Lead UI/UX Resource based in Omaha, Nebraska. The position involves a hybrid schedule, with one week remote and one week on-site in Omaha; travel expenses are covered by the client. You will lead the implementation of SAP UX strategy across the entire SAP suite, including on-premise and cloud applications with
S/4 HANA
as the digital core, for a client in the industrial sector. Responsibilities Implement SAP's standard User Experience solutions for customers. Ensure successful communication, deployment, and adoption of SAP UX strategy in every project through proactive evangelization and leading change to embed UX activities into projects. Conduct UX workshops with various functional teams to plan, prioritize, design, and build UX applications supporting a complete and cohesive user experience. Provide knowledge transfer to project and customer teams on SAP UX solutions. Stay current on UX trends and best practices across interaction types (web, mobile, etc.) and apply them creatively to customer needs. Build a strategic and scalable UI/UX strategy to harness the digital core. Understand emerging technology trends and work on proof-of-concepts (POCs) to investigate them. Apply strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, and resolution skills. Monitor and handle task progress. Schedule, prioritize, and coordinate work with vendor resources. Act as a point of contact to coordinate dependencies with other teams. Work across multiple Scrum Teams, Solution Architects, and Functional Teams to define and deliver innovative solutions. Ensure alignment to standards and standard methodologies. Serve as the single point of contact for all UI/UX requirements for Functional teams, vendor resources, and enterprise platform owners. Build an environment for developing innovative solutions with emphasis on automating work where possible. Identify repetitive steps with a focus on building automation. Engage in POCs to explore new technologies and ways of working. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 15+ years of experience in SAP solution design and implementation; application development experience. Minimum 2-3 full lifecycle S/4 migration experience. Strong knowledge of SAP technologies, including
SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP
Ariba, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Analytics Cloud. Experience in SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP, Agile, and Waterfall. Proven knowledge and skills in SAP Fiori and UX for
S/4HANA. BTP
knowledge. Hands-on experience in SAP UI5, FIORI, API, and building mobile/digital solutions. Experience in drafting and driving UI/UX strategy and design. Knowledge of architecture and development methodologies. Experience in SAP BTP, Business Application Studio, and ABAP. Current knowledge of industry trends and ability to apply that knowledge to application development design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT staff, and vendors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience leading and managing technical teams. Preferred BTP and/or Fiori/SAPUI5 certification. SAP certification.
