Job Description

Position Overview As a UI/UX Design Intern, you'll work alongside our UI Designer to gain hands-on experience designing websites and digital experiences for real clients. This internship is an opportunity to learn industry best practices while contributing to live projects in a collaborative agency environment. You'll assist with website design production, create responsive page layouts, prepare design assets, and support the design-to-development process. Throughout the internship, you'll receive mentorship and feedback to help build your design skills and professional portfolio. Responsibilities Assist the UI Designer with website design execution and production work. Create page layouts, responsive design variations, and design breakdowns based on established design direction. Prepare design files and assets for development. Support the review of websites throughout development to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently. Perform quality assurance (QA) testing to identify usability, visual, and responsive design issues. Make simple content and visual updates to WordPress websites using front-end editing tools. Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to help deliver projects on time. Learn and apply UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles. Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and feedback sessions. What We're Looking For Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color, and layout. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma (preferred) or Adobe Creative Suite. Interest in responsive web design and user experience. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to accept feedback and continuously improve. Strong communication and organizational skills.

$18.00 per hour
