As a VR Game Master & Guest Experience Host, you won't spend your day behind a desk. You'll welcome players, prepare teams for their missions, guide them through incredible free-roam virtual reality experiences, and help create the kind of atmosphere that makes guests want to return with their friends. This is more than a typical customer-service position. We're creating a close-knit team where everyone contributes, supports one another, celebrates wins, and helps make Zero Latency one of the most exciting entertainment destinations in Dallas. Bring Your Character to Work At Zero Latency VR Dallas, team members won't always be limited to a traditional uniform. You may choose to wear our standard team uniform, or—with approval—come to work in a fun, family-friendly cosplay look that fits our futuristic gaming environment. Cosplay is completely optional, but we love team members who enjoy bringing creativity, personality, and character into the guest experience. All cosplay must be safe, workplace-appropriate, and practical enough to perform the responsibilities of the position. What You'll Do Welcome guests and make them feel excited from the moment they arrive Check in players, confirm waivers, and help groups prepare for their experience Lead entertaining game introductions and safety briefings Fit players with VR equipment and explain how everything works Monitor games and assist players throughout their missions Celebrate birthdays, corporate events, date nights, and group outings Reset, sanitize, and care for VR equipment between sessions Help with basic troubleshooting and communicate technical issues Support the arcade, event, and guest-service areas when needed Keep the venue clean, organized, safe, and ready for the next adventure Work closely with the team and owner to improve the guest experience Participate in occasional social media, promotional, and marketing videos Help bring creative ideas to life for events, promotions, and online content Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Are friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to groups Are genuinely team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Enjoy gaming, technology, entertainment, cosplay, or creating memorable experiences Bring positive energy and work well in a close-knit environment Are comfortable working directly alongside the owner Are open to receiving feedback, sharing ideas, and growing with the business Are comfortable appearing in occasional marketing photos and videos Stay calm and helpful when the venue gets busy Are reliable, punctual, and ready to take initiative Learn new technology quickly Can work evenings, weekends, and holidays Are comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout your shift Have customer-service, hospitality, entertainment, arcade, theater, content-creation, or gaming experience—helpful, but not required You do not need to be a VR expert. We will provide training. What matters most is your attitude, dependability, teamwork, and ability to make guests feel welcome. Team members will work closely with the owner and management while helping build the culture, systems, events, and overall guest experience of our Dallas location. We're looking for people who are comfortable communicating openly, sharing ideas, receiving hands-on guidance, and stepping in when the team needs support.
