Job Description
Web Designer As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our development and marketing teams to understand project requirements and translate them into engaging website designs. This position is based in Akron, Ohio and offers a salary of $1700 per month with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Create website designs that align with client requirements and brand guidelines
- Design mockups and wireframes for websites using industry-standard tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and functionality on different devices and browsers
- Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills to bring designs to life
- Conduct user experience research and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and tools to continuously improve our design process
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing your web design skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other industry-standard tools
- Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
- Experience in conducting user research and implementing user-centric design practices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present design ideas and receive feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Knowledge of SEO principles This is a full-time position that offers competitive salary package along with accommodation.
