This role is ideal for a developer with 3+ years of experience who enjoys building, maintaining, testing, and optimizing websites while supporting SEO, analytics, and marketing technology initiatives. You'll work across website development, QA, technical SEO, analytics implementation, and ongoing website operations for a variety of client websites. The ideal candidate has experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms, front-end development, website troubleshooting, and integrating CRMs with digital marketing systems. Working closely with developers, designers, project managers, SEO specialists, and digital marketing teams, you'll help ensure websites are accessible, accurate, measurable, high-performing, and optimized for users and search engines. Primary Responsibilities Website Development & Maintenance (35%) Build, maintain, and update responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, ASP.NET, WordPress, and other CMS platforms and frameworks. Develop pages and features from approved designs and specifications. Customize templates, plugins, and CMS functionality. Troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues and implement enhancements. Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. Collaborate with senior developers on larger projects. Website QA & Testing (25%) Perform QA for website launches, updates, and enhancements. Test functionality, responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG), browser compatibility, forms, tracking, and integrations. Document, reproduce, and validate bug fixes before deployment. Maintain QA documentation and support regression testing. Technical SEO & Website Optimization (15%) Implement technical SEO recommendations, including metadata, headings, image attributes, internal links, redirects, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals improvements. Identify and resolve technical issues affecting website performance, usability, or search visibility. Analytics, Tracking & Integrations (15%) Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager, GA4, conversion tracking, consent management, and CRM/marketing platform integrations. Support data-layer implementation, UTM tracking, call tracking, webhooks, and automation tools (Zapier, n8n, etc.). Troubleshoot tracking issues and validate analytics after launches and deployments. CMS & Website Support (10%) Update website content, pages, forms, and media across WordPress and other CMS platforms. Support ongoing website maintenance across multiple client accounts. Communicate project updates and collaborate with internal teams to maintain website quality and consistency. Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional web development experience. Experience building and maintaining production websites (agency experience preferred). Proficiency with WordPress and familiarity with other CMS platforms. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and PHP. Experience with Git or other version control systems. Ability to troubleshoot website issues and debug code. Familiarity with website analytics, tracking, and marketing technology integrations. Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
