We are currently partnered with an innovative tech start up that is looking for a full-time Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team that specializes in PHP programming. This is a full-time and fully onsite position (5 days per week) in Chicago, IL (River North). Job Description We are an innovation company redefining global digital security. We are building the file infrastructure of the future - where every file has identity, sovereignty, and cryptographic enforcement, everywhere it travels. As we launch to the world, we are building a brand and organization worthy of a company operating at the scale of Google, IBM, Apple, and OpenAI. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, architect or similar role. Strong knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP (Laravel), Go, and Node.js. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js). Understanding of operating systems and general computing including scripting such as BASH. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres). Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS). Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience working in an agency environment or similar fast-paced setting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline. Demonstrated proficiency in owning and solving novel software solutions across a range of technologies. Experience with mobile development (e.g., iOS, Android) is a plus. Experience with desktop development (e.g., MacOS, Windows) is a plus. Experience with working with video content creators. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with agile methodologies.Similar remote jobs
