GFL Environmental is seeking a Front End Developer to build intuitive, responsive web interfaces that support our environmental services operations. In this role, you'll design and implement user-facing features for internal tools and customer portals, ensuring performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. You'll collaborate with UX, back-end, and operations teams to translate requirements into scalable UI components and workflows. Responsibilities Design and develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces for portals and internal tools Implement reusable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks Collaborate with UX, back-end, and operations teams to refine requirements Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility Ensure accessibility and adherence to web standards Integrate with RESTful APIs and back-end services Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in production environments Contribute to UI design consistency and component libraries Required Skills HTML5 CSS3/Sass Java Script/Type Script React or similar framework Responsive design RESTful API integration Git/version control Webpack or build tools Cross-browser testing UI/UX collaboration
