Job Description

About Emmaty Emmaty is a growing engineering, construction, and technology company committed to delivering innovative solutions for public and private sector clients. We are looking for a technically capable, creative, and highly organized Website Developer & Digital Marketing to own our digital presence, building and maintaining both company websites and telling our story through engaging content across every platform we use. Position Summary This role is the single point of ownership for Emmaty's digital footprint. Unlike a traditional content or marketing coordinator role, this position requires hands-on website development skills, not just content updates. The person hired will be directly responsible for the structure, functionality, performance, and content of both company websites, as well as all social media channels, photography, and video production. This role combines web development, digital marketing strategy, content creation, and project management, the ideal candidate can build and troubleshoot a website as comfortably as they can plan a social media calendar. We are looking for someone highly creative, self motivated, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight, someone who takes ownership of the work and brings fresh ideas without needing constant direction. Key Responsibilities Website Development & Management Own both company websites end-to-end: structure, design, functionality, performance, and ongoing development, this is a development responsibility, not just content upkeep. Install, configure, and troubleshoot plugins and third-party integrations; maintain links to related databases and systems. Ensure both sites meet WCAG accessibility standards, SEO/AEO best practices, and current web regulations. Create new pages, update project portfolios, and publish news, announcements, and case studies. Monitor site performance and user experience; conduct basic usability testing and resolve technical issues directly. Manage and optimize Google Business listings for both companies. Content Creation Develop high quality written content for both websites, blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials. Create project highlights, case studies, employee spotlights, and company announcements. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms and both companies. Work with technical staff to translate complex engineering and construction topics into clear marketing content. Social Media Management Own social media strategy and execution across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels. Plan and schedule regular posts; monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages. Grow audience engagement and brand awareness across all channels. Track performance metrics and deliver monthly reports with clear recommendations. Photography & Videography Capture professional photos and videos at project sites, company events, and community activities. Edit and produce promotional videos and short-form content for social media. Maintain an organized, accessible library of digital media assets. Branding & Marketing Ensure consistent branding across all digital and print materials for both companies. Design marketing graphics, presentations, brochures, and promotional materials. Support proposal teams with graphics, project imagery, and visual presentations. Assist with recruiting campaigns, company events, and public relations initiatives. Digital Marketing Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing and newsletters. Apply SEO best practices to improve visibility and search rankings for both companies. Support paid advertising campaigns (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn) when applicable. Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, IT, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a closely related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Highly creative, with strong design instincts and the ability to bring fresh ideas to both websites and all content, not simply follow a template. 3+ years of experience developing and managing websites, including hands-on CMS administration (WordPress or similar) this is a technical requirement, not a preference. Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and general troubleshooting of plugins, forms, redirects, and integrations. 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or social media management. Strong photography and videography skills. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or similar editing software. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Excellent organizational and project management skills; highly self motivated and independent, comfortable taking initiative and managing both companies' digital presences without close supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with engineering, construction, architecture, or government contracting companies. Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and GA4. Knowledge of drone photography and videography. Experience with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools. Success Measures Both company websites are technically sound, current, and professionally maintained. Consistent, high quality content published across all marketing channels. Measurable growth in website traffic, online engagement, and social media presence. Professional photography and video content that showcases Emmaty's work. Strengthened brand recognition and digital reputation across both companies. Data driven improvements in marketing performance over time. Why Join Emmaty? At Emmaty, you'll have full ownership of two companies' digital presence, shaping the public image, showcasing exciting engineering and construction projects, and building a modern web and marketing strategy from the ground up. You'll work alongside a collaborative team where technical skill, creativity, and professional growth are all valued.
