12+ Month W2 Contract No C2C or Sponsorship Position Overview Talent Groups is seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer to develop and support high volume, mission critical web applications. This is a hands on role focused on TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, Node.js, SQL, and cloud technologies , with daily use of AI assisted development tools. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and support enterprise web applications
- Develop applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and Next.js
- Design and optimize SQL databases, stored procedures, and queries
- Participate in technical design and architecture
- Deploy and support applications in cloud environments, with Azure strongly preferred
- Use AI tools and coding assistants throughout the software development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot technical, performance, and production issues
- Collaborate with developers and cross functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Node.js
- 3+ years developing web applications with Next.js
- 5+ years of experience with SQL , including stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning
- 3+ years deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments
- Experience developing multi tier applications for high volume systems
- Experience using AI tools or coding assistants in software development
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within an Agile development team Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C#, Java, Python , or other programming languages
- Advanced infrastructure or infrastructure management experience
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience using AI agents to automate development tasks and workflows
