This is a US-based remote position, with candidates in the Tampa Bay area preferred. Tampa-based employees may have the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid schedule in the future, requiring periodic onsite presence at our Tampa, FL location.Employment Type:

Job Summary We are looking for a talented PHP Software Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise web applications and APIs for a federal government IT program. You will work within a DevSecOps/Agile framework to develop secure, accessible, and high-quality software solutions, participate in code reviews and testing, and support the sustained availability of mission-critical government applications. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and APIs for a federal government client
- Work within DevSecOps/Agile framework across the full SDLC
- Build and maintain front-end and back-end components following Section 508 and U.S. Web Design Standards
- Perform code reviews, code scans, and vulnerability remediation using Fortify and Sonatype
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and code documentation
- Support integration with web content management systems and public-facing web portals
- Develop and manage application-level POA&Ms for identified vulnerabilities
- Participate in requirements analysis and UI/UX wireframe design Required Qualifications U.
Security Clearance:
minimum T3 required, active Secret or TS/SCI and/or ability to obtain Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of full-stack or application development experience Proficiency in PHP Experience with RESTful APIs and service integration patterns Working knowledge of Agile/DevSecOps methodologies Familiarity with secure coding practices and static analysis tools Understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements Preferred Qualifications- Experience with
SAST/DAST
tools (Fortify, Sonatype, BurpSuite)- Cloud-hosted development environment experience
- Federal government or DoD application development background Certifications
