ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Backend Python Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) to build scalable cloud-native backend services and infrastructure for healthcare data platforms. The role focuses on developing Python services, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven data pipelines on AWS and Databricks while ensuring secure, reliable, and HIPAA-compliant data processing.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop Python backend services and APIs.
- Build cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop Kafka-based event-driven services and data pipelines.
- Implement GraphQL APIs and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Automate infrastructure using Pulumi and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop scalable distributed systems.
- Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and QA teams.
- Ensure PHI/HIPAA-compliant data handling and operational excellence.

- 3-5 years of Backend Python development experience
