Job Requirements Herndon, VA Intel Agency (NSA, CIA, FBI, etc) Polygraph not specified Early Career (2+ yrs experience) $130,000 - $160,000 Job Description Software Engineer — Early Career (TS/SCI with CI Polygraph) About the Role OGS is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer with 3-6+ years of experience to join an agile development team supporting mission-critical customer programs. In this role you will perform full stack software engineering — contributing to design, development, testing, and deployment across the front end, back end, and supporting services. This is a hands-on position with room to grow. You will work alongside senior engineers, participate in sprint ceremonies, and take ownership of features from requirements through delivery. If you are early in your career and want to build depth on a team that ships software for real operational users, this is a strong place to start. What You'll Do Design, develop, test, and sustain full stack software applications on an agile development team Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, retrospectives, and demos. Translate system and user requirements into working software and supporting documentation. Develop and maintain both front end interfaces and back end services, APIs, and data layers. Write and execute unit and integration tests; troubleshoot and resolve defects. Collaborate with system engineers, testers, and security personnel to deliver secure, maintainable code Support system analysis, system design, and software design activities across the development lifecycle Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated CI Polygraph — must be in place prior to start date DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II (or higher) certification required: Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP Experience with and/or knowledge of one or more object-oriented programming languages: C#, Java, or C++ [Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline — or equivalent experience] Ability to work effectively on a collaborative, fast-paced development team U.S. Citizenship required Desired Skills Experience or coursework in any of the following is valued: Proficiency in Windows, .NET, and UNIX environments System software and scripting development Java programming Web development System analysis and system design Software design, development, and implementation Software test Cyber security Preferred Qualifications Experience with SQL and relational database design Experience with React or comparable modern front end frameworks Experience working under Agile / Scrum methodologies Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization group id: 91094950 Log in to view the job poster Apply now
