Job Description

Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Website and Digital Platform Specialist to provide Public Affairs support for the Department of Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA). This is a Contingent Hire position. AMSG delivers high-quality program and performance management services across a broad federal portfolio. Our clients include the Department of Defense (DoD), (including Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Join our motivated team and play a key role in shaping the future of AMSG. Position Summary This position manages the office's public-facing website and internal digital platforms. The employee builds and maintains content on WordPress for the public site, and on SharePoint for internal sites and applications. The role is fully remote. This is a contractor position. The PAO runs the office and directs its mission; the contractor's work products are services that support the PAO and the overall OAPMP mission. The following sites and applications are managed on a day-to-day basis:

(SharePoint) OAPMP Leadership Portal (SharePoint) OAPMP Public Website (WordPress) Multiple additional SharePoint applications supporting office operations

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Key Responsibilities Build, update, and maintain the OAPMP Public Website using WordPress. Build, update, and maintain the
OAPMP HUB, OAPMP
Leadership Portal, and additional internal SharePoint sites and applications. Ensure web content is accurate, current, and organized across all managed sites. Coordinate with other staff to publish approved content. Monitor website and application performance and fix technical issues. Support the office's compliance with applicable web accessibility and usability standards. Required Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in WordPress, including building and maintaining public-facing websites. Demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint, including building and maintaining sites and applications. Experience managing multiple websites, sites, or applications simultaneously. Basic understanding of web accessibility requirements. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to translate content owners' vision and requests into finished sites and applications. Interest in and willingness to use new technology, including AI tools, to improve efficiency and quality of work, consistent with VA-approved tools and guidance.
