Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding nursing opportunity in a dynamic Telemetry unit, providing high-quality care to patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and med-surg overflow. This full-time contract position offers night shifts from 7PM to 7AM, and you'll be part of a skilled interdisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient care.

Schedule:
Nights, 7PM - 7AM Every other weekend rotation No on-call requirements Floating to units as needed Nurse/patient ratio typically 5:1, occasionally up to 6:1
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current RN license (state or compact) BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, both required Minimum of one year experience in telemetry or a closely related nursing specialty preferred
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care using the full nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for a variety of cardiac and overflow patients Administer medications and treatments accurately, observing for effectiveness and potential side effects Address complex psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients and families with sensitivity and professionalism Participate actively in ongoing education and annual competency requirements, including orientation and preceptorship as needed Float as necessary, adapting to the evolving needs of the patient care environment This position offers the potential for temp-to-perm placement for those seeking a long-term career opportunity.
