Job Description
Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the classroom by supporting students with special needs in a dynamic school environment for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers passionate about fostering growth, inclusion, and success for every learner. Position 1:
Work full time with students in PreK through 5th grade. The ideal candidate for this position holds an Early Interventionalist Certificate and is eager to collaborate with other educators to support individualized learning plans. You'll play a key role in guiding young learners toward academic and developmental milestones. Caseload specifics will be provided as the role is finalized. Position 2:
Begin as soon as possible to immerse yourself in education guidelines and routines before the new school year officially starts. This role focuses on foundational learning for PreK through 2nd grade students, providing early intervention and support tailored to each child's needs.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or closely related field Valid special education teaching certification (Early Interventionalist Certificate required for Position 1) Proven experience designing and implementing IEPs Strong understanding of early developmental milestones and learning differences Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and colleagues Compassionate, flexible, and student-centered approachKey Responsibilities:
