Our mission is to push the boundaries of tethered unmanned aerial solutions, providing cutting-edge technology for various applications including surveillance, signal/data relay, and emergency response.Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UAS Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of UAVs, ensuring they operate at peak performance. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a passion for UAS technology.Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, test, and calibrate UAS and related components. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on UAS to ensure optimal functionality. Diagnosing and troubleshoot technical issues with UAS systems. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve UAS performance, reliability, and customer interface. Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities. Stay updated with the latest advancements in UAS technology and industry standards. Travel to customer sites for upgrades, repairs, training and support and/or Marketing/Sales Events, up to 20% of the time.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or certification in engineering, robotics, or a related field. Proven experience as a UAS technician or similar role. Strong understanding of UAS systems, electronics, and mechanical components. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and the ability to document technical information clearly. Must have a USA citizenship.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with various types of UAS (e.g., quadcopters, fixed-wing). Knowledge of FAA regulations and ANSI standards for UAS operations. Certification from a recognized UAS training program.Job Type:
