Therapist

Families Free is seeking to hire an experienced full-time or part-time, communicative, and compassionate clinician to join our team and support the holistic well-being of our clients! Therapists provide trauma-based therapy services, in an individual, family, or group format, to clients enrolled in substance abuse programming. The therapist will see clients at the recommendation of the Psychiatrist or Clinical and Program Directors based on screenings and assessments indicating such need. The therapist may provide support services as needed for client's wrap-around treatment.

Essential Job Duties:

• Conduct substance use/co-occurring treatment groups
• Provide Trauma based therapy services, both group and individua
• Provide wrap around support services to clients in need
• Complete all documentation in a timely fashion
• Attend program staffing and Clinical Supervision group

Special Requirements:

Thorough knowledge and application of all patient privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule, 42 Code of Federal Regulations part 2, and confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records regulations.

Education:

A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other Human Services field is required. Licensure Eligible This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with people as well as who has experience working with trauma, addictive disorders, department of children's services involvement and a criminal justice population. Self-motivation and strong time management skills are required! Candidate must be able to pass a background check, possess a valid driver's license, and have a reliable vehicle for transportation as well as auto insurance. Work hours are M-F office hours, with the option for flexing weekend/evening at therapist's discretion.

$46,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
