Title Company Post Closer

We are a busy residential title insurance company seeking experienced full-time post-closer. This is an in-office position and candidates must be willing and able to reliably commute to Pasadena, MD daily, with regular hours being 9:30

• 5:30. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Checking documents post-closing for signatures and completeness
• Scanning and sending correct documents back to lender
• Receipt of funds and confirmation of funding approval
• Balancing disbursements to the CD/HUD
• Printing checks, initiating wires, preparing overnight labels
• Preparing documents for recording
• E-Recording
• Preparing title policies
• Remitting policies (including e-remitting)
• Reviewing escrow accounts and determining who receives refunds Candidates must demonstrate the following:

• Willingness to learn new and complex tasks

• Above-average written and verbal communication skills We mainly handle MD residential properties but occasionally VA and FL.

Prior title company post-closing experience is required. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams) and ability to learn new software quickly. Experience with Title Express and Maryland Title Producer license a plus. Willingness to obtain MD Title Producer license within 6 months of hiring is required.
