(Ooltewah, TN Only) Finish Painter Operate and tend high volume low pressure (HVLP) pump-style spray guns to apply industrial grade finishes to tow trucks and other equipment ensuring a flawless high-gloss finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Sands and prepares surface for painting. Ensure surfaces are clean, smooth and ready to accept new paint. Builds topcoat thickness of high gloss finish. Reads blueprints to understand parts and how they relate to each other. Inspects and evaluates the quality of the finished product. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and according to specifications. Other duties as assigned.

Proven experience as painter with in-depth knowledge on mixing and matching paint colors and chemicals.

• Proficient in setting up, using and maintaining gravity fed HVLP guns and pump style spray systems.
• Keen technique for polishing and buffing to achieve a flawless smooth result.
• Comprehension of technical documentation and instructions to ensure correct mixing ratios and application methods.
