Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tool Room Attendant, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe workshop environment. In this position, you'll be responsible for managing tool inventory, ensuring proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment, and supporting manufacturing operations. Your proactive approach will help streamline workflows, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical knowledge while contributing to a fast-paced, innovative environment. Duties Manage tool inventory using ERP systems and CMMS software to track tool usage, location, and maintenance schedules Ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and safety of tools and equipment in the tool room and warehouse areas Assist with procurement management by sourcing tools and supplies from approved vendors, negotiating pricing, and managing purchase orders Support shipping & receiving processes by preparing tools for dispatch or return, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records Conduct regular inspections of tools for wear or damage; coordinate equipment repair or replacement as needed Manage Tool Room activities including but not limited to the following: Injection mold / Blow mold preventive maintenance Die / Assembly fixture preventive maintenance Injection & Blow mold / Assembly fixture repairs Injection & Blow mold insert changeovers Maintain mold inserts and spare parts for Injection molds Qualifications Must be skilled with standard toolroom equipment, Mill, Lathe, Surface Grinder and related jigs and fixtures. Standard measurement devices such as gage pins, gage blocks, micrometer, caliper and shadow graph. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair is highly desirable Valid forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment safely Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Education Required, High School Diploma or Technical school degree is preferred, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology Degree is preferred Join us in this role where your expertise will directly impact our operational excellence! Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
