Job Summary:
The Trailer Sales Professional will be responsible for engaging with customers, managing the sales process from lead generation to closing, and promoting our trailer inventory. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in managing multiple SaaS applications, and a strong working knowledge of listing and selling on platforms like Facebook Marketplace. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, customer-focused, and driven to meet sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate trailer solutions.
  • Engage with customers through in-person, phone, and online inquiries, providing clear and professional communication.
  • Guide customers through the sales process, from initial contact to final delivery, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
Online Sales and Marketing:
  • Create, manage, and optimize trailer listings on Facebook Marketplace and other online platforms to attract potential buyers.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries generated through online listings, maintaining a professional and engaging online presence.
Technology and Administrative Duties:
  • Utilize multiple SaaS applications (e.g., CRM systems, inventory management software, and sales platforms) to track leads, manage customer data, and monitor inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory updates in dealership systems.
Customer Service and Follow-Up:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Follow up with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the finance and title team to ensure smooth transaction processes. Trailer and Yard Assistance
  • Assist shop tech with trailer prep as needed
  • Support shop needs by helping receive in new loads, including; trailer inspection, stacking bins, and other duties when necessary
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in automotive, trailer, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with diverse customers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple SaaS applications simultaneously (e.g., CRM, inventory management, or sales software like Dealertrack).
  • Strong working knowledge of listing and selling on Facebook Marketplace, including creating compelling listings and managing inquiries.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to learn new software tools.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in trailer or automotive sales.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies for online marketplaces.
  • Knowledge of trailer types, specifications, and industry trends.
