Transmission Heavy Equipment Operator Cianbro United States, Virginia, Waynesboro May 12, 2026 We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience supporting transmission line construction. This role requires a safety-driven professional who can operate a variety of specialized equipment in challenging field environments. Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment to support transmission line installation, maintenance, and construction. Safely run puller/tensioner equipment (bundled experience preferred). Operate reach trucks, loaders, and skid steers for material handling and site preparation. Utilize NCCO-certified hydraulic swing cab cranes for lifting operations (TLL). Assist with rigging, load handling, and ground operations as needed. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Follow all safety protocols, job briefings, and utility standards. Work effectively with foremen, linemen, and construction crews in fast-paced field conditions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Proven experience operating heavy equipment in utility or transmission environments. Proficiency with:

• Puller/Tensioner (Bundled Preferred)
• Reach Truck
• Loader
• Skid Steer
• NCCO Hydraulic Swing Cab.

Strong understanding of jobsite safety and equipment best practices. Ability to work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions. Willingness to travel as required for project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

CDL-A (Preferred). Prior transmission, distribution, or utility construction experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
