Transport Driver Per Diem

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Transport Driver to join our team on a per diem basis. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from designated locations. Your role is essential in ensuring reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation services that meet the diverse needs of our community. Must have a clean driver's license and pass background check Duties Safely operate a mini-van. Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs according to scheduled routes and client needs. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, performing basic mechanical checks and reporting any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to guarantee passenger safety at all times. Assist passengers with boarding and alighting when necessary, demonstrating sensitivity to their individual needs. Keep accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during transportation. Skills Proven experience in similar roles involving transportation of passengers. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Knowledge of driving regulations, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance basics. Experience working with children, seniors, or individuals requiring special assistance such as paratransit or childcare services. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to manage behavior effectively and handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
