POSITION SUMMARY
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic part-time Bus Driver. Applicant should be highly skilled in driving a school bus and be up-to-date with all certifications and trainings.
Pay Rate:
$25.00 hour
Locations:
Village Clubhouse - 3115 Roosevelt St., Carlsbad, CA 92008 Bressi Ranch Clubhouse - 2730 Bressi Ranch Way, Carlsbad, CA 92009
FLSA Status:
Part-Time (Non-Exempt)
Hours:
Mon-Friday 20-25 hours weekly (Split shift may be needed AM/PM)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick-up Club kids from school and drop off at clubhouse. Pick-up Club kids from Clubhouse and take to/from field trip destinations (during camp). Safe Practices. Interact with the kids as they get on and off the bus. Do daily walk-throughs; inspecting the bus's condition.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
CA State Driver's License Class B License Current H6 Print Out Passenger Endorsement School Bus Certificate Air Brakes Certificate Knowledge of Carlsbad routes and landmarks Experience working with kids First Aid Certified CPR Certified (Preferred but not required)
SUBJECT TO
Background check, LIVESCAN Fingerprinting, and Drug Test.
