The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students. As a School Bus Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of students to and from school and school activities.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate the school bus in compliance with all traffic laws and school regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and mechanical integrity. Maintain order and discipline on the bus while students are onboard. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with children, parents, and school staff. Following assigned routes and schedules, making necessary arrangements for traffic or other delays. Pick up and drop off students at designated stops, ensuring their safety while boarding and alighting. Communicate effectively with school administration, students and parents. Keep accurate records of routes, mileage, and passenger counts as required. Attend safety meetings and and training sessions as required. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus. Experience Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable. . Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance is advantageous. Skills in behavior management and teaching techniques are appreciated for effectively managing diverse student's needs.
