Job Description
School Van/Bus Driver - Part-Time Great Beginnings Academy of Orlando is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and professional School Van/Bus Driver to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment during transportation. Position Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school on assigned morning and afternoon routes. Complete assigned routes in a safe and timely manner. Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain appropriate student behavior and safety expectations while students are in the vehicle. Ensure students are picked up and dropped off at authorized locations. Communicate route delays, student concerns, vehicle issues, or emergencies to school administration. Maintain a clean and orderly school vehicle. Follow all school transportation procedures and applicable traffic and safety regulations. Assist with transportation for field trips or school activities when needed and available. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Class B CDL required to operate the school bus. Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements required for bus operation. Must be able to successfully complete a Level 2 background screening/fingerprinting. Must have a strong commitment to student safety. Dependable, punctual, and professional.
