Job Summary Department Specific Responsibilities Safely transports passengers to and from extracurricular activities, events and athletic competitions. Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSD or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required 2 years driving experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Required Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University A Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsement (Please note, the university will pay for training if necessary) SKILLS Required Proficient communication skills Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner Time management skills Highly thorough and dependable Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations and safety precautions and practices in the operation of public transportation vehicles Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians Working Conditions / Demands This position requires availability to work weekends and overnight trips and the ability to maintain written documentation of driving assignments. Ability to know your location in relation to the environment or know where other objects are in relation to you and your vehicle. Ability to read and understand written instructions, hear and understand verbal instructions and to maintain legible records. The position requires availability for weekend and overnight trips. Work Location IU East Campus Richmond, Indiana Advertised Salary $20.00 -$25.00 per hour based on qualifications
