As the Crème School Support team member, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for young children, staff, and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness contribute to the overall well-being of the school community! As a Support Staff you will: Provide classroom support by assisting in set up and break down of classrooms for daily activities. In collaboration with teachers, maintain a healthy and organized learning environment by cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and other classroom furniture. Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly. Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, disinfecting surfaces, toys, and play equipment. Ensure bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day. Manage disposals of waste in accordance with school policies and empty trash receptacles regularly. Ensure daily laundering needs are addressed and completed. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies in restrooms and common areas. Alert the Director of Operations when supplies are running low and assist in procurement. Communicate effectively with school staff regarding cleaning schedules and priorities by reporting any concerns or observations related to cleanliness and maintenance. Assist as needed in daily school operations
DRIVER Specific:
Safely operate the school bus, ensuring the well-being of young passengers during transit. Adhere to traffic laws, school bus regulations, and safety procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in proper working order. Maintain a safe and orderly environment within the bus by addressing any behavioral issues promptly and report incidents to appropriate school staff. Establish positive and respectful communication with children, parents, and school staff. Provide clear and timely information regarding pick-up and drop-off times.Qualifications:
Previous experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or a related field. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation, and safe chemical usage. Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Ability to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children Strong work ethic and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team who are committed to maintaining a child-friendly and safe environment.DRIVER:
Clean driving record and adherence to safety regulations; Physical ability to operate a school bus and assist students as needed.
