Our Palmer Bus -Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School (grades 9-12) site has an exciting opening for a School Bus Driver! Enjoy a consistent average of 28 hours per week, with morning routes starting around 5:40 AM and a guaranteed pay of 2.5 to 3 hours per route. You'll connect communities from Redwood Falls, St. James, Mankato and Arlington to New Ulm, playing a vital role in our students' lives. Kickstart your career in transportation! Your Key Responsibilities:

Safely operating school buses, transporting students and authorized personnel. Conducting thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performing basic bus maintenance. Maintaining a safe and respectful environment on the bus by enforcing rules and addressing incidents appropriately. Skillfully navigating routes while adhering to all traffic laws and prioritizing student safety. Performing post-trip checks and reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Participating in meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

A valid Minnesota Commercial Driver's License with necessary endorsements or the willingness and ability to obtain a CDL Class B within 90 days - with our paid training! A foundational understanding of safety procedures and emergency evacuation protocols. The ability to consistently follow safety guidelines, maintain accurate records, and operate relevant equipment. A dependable and independent nature, coupled with patience and strong communication skills for interacting with a diverse group of individuals. A commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of student information.

Physical Demands:
