Global Parking Systems also partners with Metropolis (formerly SP Plus Parking Corporation), a leader in the parking management space. Together, we are committed to making the parking experience a first-class enjoyable one for parking consumers. Built on the foundation of excellence and integrity, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of service at all of our parking facilities. Global Parking Systems OMA - Nebraska Operations' administrative offices are located at 4501 Abbott Drive, Omaha, NE 68110. Scope of Position Shuttle Drivers operator a thirteen (13) passenger seat shuttle bus to provide shuttling services to customers to and from the airport terminal in a safe and timely manner. Essential Functions To perform the Shuttle Driver position successfully, an individual must be able to perform satisfactorily perform each essential duty and responsibility listed below with little supervision:
- Performing vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness of bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers
- Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform
- Possess a valid state-issued driver's license to be carried with driver, at all times, while on duty
- Have and maintain an acceptable DMV record
- Courteously assist Customers by answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the Customer to the Facility Manager for further assistance
- Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills and etc. to garage office
- Substitute for Cashiers or Valets, when necessary, if authorized
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage
- Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable (e.g. operating shuttle buses at an airport location)
- Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed Starting Hourly Rate of Pay The starting rate of pay for the Shuttle Driver position is $17.76 hourly. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that an individual encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the Shuttle Driver position:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- The driver will be responsible for driving a shuttle bus outside where the temperatures are diverse and the weather is adverse Position Status and Availability The individual selected for the Shuttle Driver position must be available to work a full-time or part-time flexible shift including weekends, holidays and overnight if the primary shift is an overnight shift.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to comply with company's policies and procedures
- Ability to speak clearly, write legibly, perform basic calculations and work well other employees
- Willingness to work outside in extreme weather conditions (cold, hot, rainy)
- Consistently arrive at work and on time; ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrive at meetings and appointments on time
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write) with customers, co-workers and management to their understanding Licenses and Certifications The individual selected for the Shuttle Driver position must possess a state-issued driver's license with no restrictions, a current address and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

- Effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company Mathematical Skills The individual selected for the Shuttle Driver position must possess the ability to:
- Add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Perform these operations using units of American money Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by the individual to successfully perform the essential functions of the Shuttle Driver position.
- Sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle cash and equipment
- Reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
- Occasionally climb or balance
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Education Requirements The individual selected for the Shuttle Driver position must possess a:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
