Job Description

Become a School Bus Charter / Sports Driver! STA is looking for a specific applicant group for this one. These folks will be assigned to transport children to and from Sporting Events or other events as needed. We are seeking to hire several folks, who could start immediately. These folks will operate school buses for district Sports Runs with the possibility, if agreed, to work other driving duties as mutually agreed to. Mornings free $22 /hour to start May fill in on morning runs in our terminals as applicable but ONLY if agreed to. Student Transportation Inc. is North America's safest independent provider of school bus transportation services, with an industry-leading safety rating and the youngest fleet in the business. As a Charter driver, you will be responsible for transporting various clients to and from locations. Our ideal candidate will possess 2 + years of previous school bus driving experience along with a positive attitude and punctuality.
Duties:
Transport clients to various locations. Ensuring safe transportation of all passengers on the bus. Ensuring the safe operation of vehicles and equipment. Providing friendly courteous service to our customers. Maintain compliance with all Student Transportation of America/ School Wheels Direct safety operating procedures. Maintain professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
Must be over the age of 21. Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination. Maintain proper driving credentials. No more than 2 moving violations and 1 preventable accident in the past 3 years. Must be professional and punctual. Strong customer service skills. Ability to adhere to all company safety standards and operating procedures. Ability to successfully pass a background check.
