New York & New Jersey Area Full-Time | Approximately 40 Hours Per Week CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement Required Flexible Day, Evening & Night Availability Required We are recruiting an experienced, polished, and safety-focused CDL Class B Chauffeur / Professional Bus Driver for a full-time passenger transportation opportunity serving the New York and New Jersey area. This position requires more than simply having a CDL. We are seeking a professional driver who understands luxury chauffeured transportation, limousine service, charter bus operations, Sprinter vans, airport transportation, and professional passenger service. The successful candidate must be well-groomed, professionally dressed, dependable, flexible, knowledgeable about the New York metropolitan area, and comfortable transporting executive, corporate, airport, and other passengers.

REQUIRED CDL & DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have a valid CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement and professional passenger transportation experience.

Candidates should be experienced operating:

Limousines Charter buses Passenger buses Executive transportation vehicles Sprinter vans Other commercial passenger transportation vehicles Applicants should be comfortable transitioning between different passenger vehicle types based on daily transportation assignments.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE IS REQUIRED

This position requires approximately 40 hours per week , but applicants must have a flexible schedule.

Assignments may include:

Early Morning Shifts — including 5:00 AM start times Evening Shifts — including 6:00 PM start times Night Driving — evening and overnight transportation assignments may be required Drivers must be able to accommodate changing passenger schedules, airport transportation assignments, corporate transportation, special events, and other scheduled trips. This is not an ideal position for someone who can work only one fixed daytime schedule.

NEW YORK & NEW JERSEY AREA KNOWLEDGE

Applicants should have strong working knowledge of Manhattan, New York City, and surrounding New York and New Jersey transportation areas.

Drivers must be comfortable navigating:

Manhattan New York City traffic New Jersey transportation routes Major highways and parkways Bridges and tunnels Airport roadways Passenger pickup and drop-off areas Commercial vehicle routes and restrictions Drivers must remain alert to bridge restrictions, posted height limits, overhead clearances, commercial vehicle restrictions, and other roadway limitations applicable to the vehicle being operated. Safe route planning is extremely important, particularly when operating buses, Sprinter vans, and other larger passenger vehicles.

AIRPORT KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Candidates should be familiar with professional passenger pickup and drop-off procedures and applicable operating rules at major New York/New Jersey-area airports, including: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) LaGuardia Airport (LGA) Morristown Municipal Airport (MMU), New Jersey Knowledge of additional New York and New Jersey airports is a plus. Drivers should understand how to navigate airport terminals, designated commercial transportation areas, passenger pickup locations, staging areas, and applicable airport transportation procedures.

PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE

Professional presentation is an essential requirement of this position.

Drivers must:

Be well-groomed and maintain excellent personal hygiene. Maintain a polished and professional appearance while on duty. Report to assignments wearing a full professional suit as required. Maintain appropriate professional attire throughout the assignment. Present themselves professionally when interacting with passengers, dispatchers, airport personnel, hotel staff, corporate clients, and other transportation professionals. Provide courteous and discreet service. The driver represents the transportation company from the moment a passenger is greeted until the trip is completed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The CDL Class B Chauffeur / Bus Driver will be responsible for: Transporting passengers safely, professionally, and on schedule. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Inspecting tires, brakes, lights, fluid levels, safety equipment, and other essential vehicle components. Planning safe routes appropriate for the size and height of the assigned vehicle. Following traffic laws, commercial vehicle restrictions, and company safety policies. Monitoring bridges, tunnels, overhead clearances, and posted vehicle restrictions. Navigating Manhattan and other high-traffic areas safely. Providing professional airport pickups and drop-offs. Assisting passengers when entering and exiting vehicles. Assisting with luggage when required. Providing appropriate assistance to passengers with mobility needs. Maintaining communication with dispatch throughout the shift. Reporting traffic delays, mechanical problems, accidents, passenger concerns, and other operational issues. Completing required driver and vehicle documentation. Keeping the passenger area clean and professionally presented. Providing courteous and professional customer service throughout every assignment.
