10- or 12-month option; Non-exempt Position to begin September 2026. We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Full-Time Bus Driver/Custodian to join our school community. This dual-role position is responsible for safely transporting students during morning and afternoon bus routes while also serving as a Custodian during the school day. Qualifications include, but are not limited to: Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status. Must possess a valid CDL Class B license with P & S endorsements for school children transport (or willingness to obtain CDL before start of employment). Clean driving record required. Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Awareness of factors of fire and health safety involved in the care of the buildings. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School President may find appropriate Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: The nature of work consists of safely transporting students to and from school before and after school hours.

During the school day:

Checks and secures the building at the beginning and end of shift for the purpose of ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the building. Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways, and other areas of the building according to school district standards. Clears snow from the entrance and walks, and spreads sand and ice melting chemicals. Provides ground-keeping duties, clears debris, and maintains grounds. Ability to work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow. Ability to walk, bend, climb stairs, and move throughout the school building and grounds. Ability to work above ground from ladders and automatic lifts. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs unassisted. The salary offered will be based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this full-time position is between $30,000 and $45,000 (with an additional 2 hours of Bus Driver pay for PM run).
