Job Description

Position to begin September 2026. We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Full-Time Bus Driver / School Safety & Security Officer to join our school community. This dual-role position is responsible for safely transporting students during morning and afternoon bus routes while also supporting campus safety and security throughout the school day. Responsibilities Safely operate school bus routes for morning and afternoon student transportation Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment on school property Monitor campus entrances, hallways, stairwells, parking areas, and outdoor spaces Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and safety concerns Support school administration in maintaining a secure learning environment Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families while upholding the mission and values of Catholic education Qualifications Valid CDL Class B license with P & S endorsements and clean driving record required (or willingness to obtain) Experience or training in security, school security, or law enforcement preferred Valid state-issued armed security license and firearm permit preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education Strong communication, professionalism, and sound judgment Physical Requirements Must be able to walk, run, bend, climb stairs, and move quickly through hallways, stairwells, and outdoor terrain in response to emergencies Must be able to lift and carry moderate to heavy amounts of weight Salary & Benefits The salary offered will be based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this full-time position is between $30,000 and $45,000 (with an additional 2 hours of Bus Driver pay for PM run). Full-time positions offer a variety of benefits, including health insurance, dental, vision, 403b and paid time off.
