Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to their destinations
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a positive experience
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, including those with special needs or disabilities
• Follow established routes and schedules
• Monitor passenger behavior and address any issues or concerns that arise
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers on board

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with passengers of all ages and backgrounds
• Experience in paratransit or student transportation is a plus
• Ability to educate passengers on bus safety rules and procedures
• Excellent driving skills, with a clean driving record and a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques, especially when dealing with children or challenging situations
• Familiarity with childcare practices and the ability to ensure the safety of young passengers
