Weekends Off Competitive salary Flexible schedule Paid time off Training & development Core Responsibilities Safely operate a school bus along assigned routes, following all traffic laws and district schedules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical issues promptly Pick up and drop off students at designated stops on time Maintain discipline and ensure student safety and behavior standards while on board Use required safety equipment (mirrors, seat belts, emergency exits, wheelchair lifts if applicable) Follow all state/district regulations for school bus operation and student transportation Communicate effectively with dispatch, school staff, and parents regarding routes, delays, or incidents Complete required paperwork (attendance logs, incident reports, mileage logs) Assist students with boarding/exiting, including those with special needs Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies (medical, mechanical, weather-related) Keep the bus clean and report any needed maintenance Maintain a valid CDL with passenger (P) and school bus (S) endorsements, and pass required background checks/drug screenings
