Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Bus Driver to join our dynamic team at Eustace ISD Transportation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our students, ensuring their timely arrival and departure to and from their respective destinations.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate the school bus on a regular schedule and route. 2. Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety. 3. Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations for school buses. 4. Ensure safety of all students; assist passengers in the loading and unloading process. 5. Manage student behavior and report any issues to the school administration. 6. Maintain cleanliness of the school bus as required. 7. Attend safety and training meetings.

Skills:

1. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. 2. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. 3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to manage and ensure the safety of students. 5. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively. 6. Good physical condition and flexibility to work irregular hours.

Certifications:

The candidate must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a school bus (S) endorsement. A current report of driving record with no violations for the past three years is required.
