Job Description

Bus Driver (Part Time) The Emberly at Heritage Glen | Fort Worth, TX 76244 16 hours per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays Our residents have places to be. Doctor appointments, grocery runs, lunch outings, and the occasional scenic drive just because the weather is nice. We are looking for a part time driver who gets them there safely and makes the ride the best part of their day. This is a 14 passenger bus, so no CDL is required. What is required is a clean driving record and real patience with older adults. Schedule Tuesdays and Thursdays. 16 hours per week. What you will do Transport residents to medical appointments, errands, and community outings Assist residents on and off the bus, including those using walkers and wheelchairs Operate the lift and secure mobility devices correctly every trip Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Keep the bus clean, fueled, and ready to roll Log mileage and report maintenance needs promptly Coordinate daily with the Director of Engagement on routes and schedule changes What we are looking for Valid Texas driver license and a clean motor vehicle record (reviewed at hire and annually) Experience driving a passenger bus or van preferred Comfortable and confident assisting seniors with walkers and wheelchairs Patient, warm, dependable, and on time every single trip Able to lift and assist residents safely, and to load and unload mobility equipment Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and TB screening

From $15.00 per hour
