The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring that passengers reach their destinations safely and efficiently as well as experince in childcare. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and team members. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of buses, including school buses and shuttle vehicles. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Maintain a clean and organized bus interior for student comfort. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting students with boarding, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures. Communicate clearly with building administrators regarding any issues or delays encountered during routes. Requirements Valid driver's licenses. Proven experience in bus driving, including school bus driving or shuttle driving preferred. Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the vehicle. Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Customer service experience is highly desirable, especially in transportation or delivery roles. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required. Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in the transportation industry.
