Job Description
Job Summary 1.50 per stop $500-$1250 a week Join our dynamic team as an Independent Courier Contractor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to operate your own vehicle while providing exceptional service you must a have valid drivers license and own vehichle, you will payed weekly you are required to work 5-6 days out the week, all packages must be delivered any package that isn't deliverable must be brought back the next business day no exceptions. As a courier contractor, you will be responsible for managing your delivery routes, handling packages with care, and maintaining adherence to all safety and traffic regulations. Your dedication will directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our delivery network. Duties Safely operate your personal or commercial vehicle, such as a box truck or van, to complete scheduled deliveries across designated routes Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on time Communicate effectively with dispatch teams via mobile devices to confirm delivery statuses and receive route updates Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring a positive delivery experience Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, including proper manual handling procedures Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and package conditions for compliance and reporting purposes Qualifications Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, warehouse operations, or commercial driving is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks is a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy packages safely and efficiently Familiarity with route driving, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Proficiency with mobile devices for navigation, communication, and record keeping Experience with warehouse operations or material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and take pride in delivering excellence.
