As an Independent Courier Contractor, you will use your own reliable vehicle to deliver small e-commerce packages throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia. Routes begin each morning from Elkridge, MD logistics hub. This opportunity is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, and providing outstanding customer service. What We Offer Competitive weekly settlements Consistent Monday-Saturday route opportunities Morning dispatch from our Elkridge, MD hub Routes throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia Supportive local dispatch and management team Opportunity to grow with an expanding logistics company Responsibilities Pick up pre-sorted packages from our Elkridge, MD hub. Deliver small e-commerce packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial customers. Follow assigned routes using a smartphone delivery application. Scan and complete deliveries using the delivery app. Obtain proof of delivery (POD) Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or delivery exceptions. Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service. Handle packages carefully to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old. Valid U.S. driver's license. Reliable 4-door sedan, SUV, crossover, minivan, or cargo van. Current vehicle insurance. Smartphone (iPhone or Android) with a reliable data plan. Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Strong communication and time-management skills. Must pass a criminal background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review. Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Independent Contractor Information This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity. Contractors are responsible for providing their own vehicle, fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, smartphone, and applicable taxes associated with independent contractor status.
