Duties Safely operate cargo vans, or personal vehicles to deliver packages along designated routes with precision and timeliness Load and unload deliveries using manual handling techniques, material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Follow all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines to ensure safe driving practices at all times Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes efficiently and communicate with dispatch as needed Handle heavy lifting and moving tasks with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury and ensure safety Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain signatures when required, and complete delivery logs promptly Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery concerns Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, and entry level Valid driver's license suitable for personal vehicles cargo vans cars suvs minivan Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling procedures Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and heavy lifting techniques Understanding of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling in the workplace Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Prior experience with route driving and delivery driver roles is highly desirable Embark on a journey where your driving expertise makes an impact!
