Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Courier Driver and become the vital link that ensures timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods across diverse routes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of freight types, including refrigerated cargo, hazardous materials, and specialty loads, all while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards. As a Courier Driver, you will be the face of our logistics operation, providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism on every trip. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles (Sprinter, Cargo Van) to deliver freight across local, regional, or over-the-road (OTR) routes. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and safety. Load and unload cargo with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring secure transportation of freight. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify truck condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules, address issues promptly, and provide excellent customer service. Requirements Valid driver's license. Proven experience in delivery driving. Experience with route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery planning. Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits over long distances on OTR routes or local deliveries. Physical ability to lift heavy loads when necessary and perform manual handling tasks safely.
