Duties Safely operate a Cargo Vans Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient delivery routes and adapt to traffic or road conditions in real-time. Load and unload cargo with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring all freight is secured according to safety standards. Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety protocols. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety, including checking refrigeration units if applicable. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the route. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or freight transportation, with a strong understanding of route driving and logistics cargo handling Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and truck driving safety standard Ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
